I cannot activate windows 8 customer preview 64 bit version. When I activated it, I got an error message:

"the software licensing service reported that the required plug-in is not found."

Please help me. Thanks.

We have had many discussions about this problem. Please read some of the other threads with almost identical titles!

Repeat:

There is NO Activation of any version of Windows 8.

You must type in the legal Registration Key, found on the MS download page, during the first few steps of the install.
That's it! There is nothing more.

You need to reset your pc option.

You can reset through Control Panel, Recovery, or through Metro, Charms Bar, More PC Settings, General tab

Please explain...."PC Option" for the uninformed. Eh?

I did a reinstall. Now everything is ok. Thanks for your answers.

If you just reinstalled Win 8 CP, you missed the boat. Win 8 RP was released on May 31st. Since you just reinstalled this would be an ideal time to install Win 8 RP using this method.
