Default power button for turning on

Can someone please help me. Take in mind my computer skills are just average. This isn't a problem yet, but would like to get a fix before if possible. Here it is. This laptop is only 5 to 6 months old. Windows 8. My power button that turn,s the computer on, sticks some. I have no money to take it to a shop, I was wondering if there,s a trick to fix it? Or another way to turn it on?

It fixed itself, started working fine. At times computers do strange things hahahaha. I cant tell you how it got fixed, I don't know. Maybe it got tired of hearing me cuss hahahaha.

    Thanks, Chuck
( this is solved ) No pop near your computer hahahaha.

If it's only 5-6 months old....it should still be under warranty. I would contact the manufacturer and have them fix it.

Stop spilling or splashing sugary drinks on the keyboard and the keys won't stick! eh? lol

It's good that you got it fixed, because a Power ON button sticking down will cause the PC to shutdown.
    Not good!

    Cheers mate!

You were exactly right, I spilled maybe a drop of pop at most right on the power button, but it don't take much. The power button now clicks like it,s suppose to, so I think it will be ok. I understand what you mean about a power button. My computer skills aren't very good. The fix which I already do. Keep soda,s away from your computer hahahaha. Thanks, Chuck
