Default Windows 8 cannot detect my graphic card

    Hi,

I installed Windows 8 Consumer Preview (64 bit) using VirtualBox on Windows 7 64 bit. Windows 8 cannot detect my graphic card. Transitions between apps is a little laggy, not as smooth as in Windows 7. I am not sure that this is a graphic card problem.

I tried using Microsoft default driver, VirtualBox Guest Additions and also ATI Windows 8 Preview driver. None of them works. They cannot detect my graphic card as ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470. They will detect something like Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and VirtualBox Display Adapter (not working at all), and the ATI Catalyst can't even detect a graphic card in my laptop.

    Any idea? Thank you.

    Try to update your VirtualBox.
