Default Windows won't install security essentials update

    Hi,

My windows recently downloaded an update for microsoft security essentials. I trieed to install, it failed. During installation, it asked me to browse my computer for a package named "epp.msi". If I check microsoft security essentials and try to update security essentials, it says that virus definition is up to date.

I have Windows 8 consumer preview 32 bit. Please help me.

MSE should not have been installed on Win 8 CP. It already has WD V6 which is the MSE engine upgraded for Win 8 CP. Uninstall MSE.
