Where can I download Windows 8 recovery disc for my dell inspiration 1420? my recovery disc has lost, I can't find it now.

I wanna an iso file for recovery disc, and I can burn it into a DVD by myself.

But the question is where can I download Windows 8 recovery disc?

NOT possible!! Windows 8 hasn't been released yet. BUT if you want Windows 7 just log onto Dell, click on support, give the model, and s/n number, then after that go to downloads, and download the Windows7.iso, and BINGO! you have your system recovery file to create/burn to a disc. Note: Your windows 7 COA is on your computer itself.

The easiest way to go to Control Panel and choose Recovery and follow the prompts. You can also download the iso file for Win 8 CP from the official MS download site and burn the iso file to DVD to create a bootable DVD to allow Repair installs.

Well, The original post is almost 2 years old, but as was said earlier Dell never shipped a computer with W8 in it so he never had Dell W8 recovery discs.
