    Default Windows 8 Recovery #1

How can I perform Windows 8 recovery? I never turn off auto Windows 8 backup & recovery option, and I think it works. But today, there is something wrong with my Windows 8, I can't find where to recover it.

Please point a way out. Thanks in advance.

Restart the computer, and keep pressing F8, go to the Windows 8 safe mode.

select "Accessories" - "System Utilities" - "System Restore", then choose the date you want to go back.

After minutes, the status of your Windows 8 will turn good.

Is there any software can help us to do this work? Because I'm 60 years old, do not know whether I can manual it or not.

Another method, from the Metro UI type refresh and see what pops up.

That's what I had to do to refresh my system. However, Avast IS 7 quarantined some system files, so I had to insert my install disk for the refresh to complete.

Needless to say, I got my money back from Avast. Went with what has worked well for me, ESET Smart Security 5 + MBAM Pro.
