    You can try Malwarebytes Antimalware.

The best way with this beta OS is simply to reinstall the entire OS. Then I would seriously look at your habits and how you got a virus. A Clean Install will format the drive, then install the OS.

    Estrada, Welcome to the Forum!

Ted & threeone has good points, as to how to keep your computer virus free. However, sometimes with these beta OS's, it's best to format & start over, using the tools to scan daily that was suggested to you.

Ted bring up a valid point. It's really none of our business as to how you got infected, & I'm not going to ask. But many who travels to porn sites, torrent downloading of questionable software, frequents chat rooms, opens every email attachment & clicks onto every ad that offers free, "too good to be true" products, are highly more likely to get infected than those who don't.

This does not imply that those who uses safe browsing habits never gets infected, anything these days are possible. It's just that the odds are stacked against those who doesn't practice safe computing.

Do Full Scans with the products mentioned above, as well as Windows Defender. There's also a potent online scanner, run it weekly for best results, using the IE browser. Make sure that "Automatically remove Threats" & "Scan for potentially unwanted software/apps" are checked.

    Best of Luck,

I see that the OP has not been back since his original post. Eh?

But this line tells the story:

BTW, I am using windows 8 consumer preview.
That should NOT be! Win-8/CP went out of date on June 1 when the Release Preview was released and by now it should have been replaced with Win-8/RP on everyone's PC.
There's absolutely NO point in trying to troubleshoot and OUT-OF-DATE Beta OS.

I'm confident that a CLEAN install with RP will solve his problems, at least for the time being.

    Cheers!

At this point, no one should be running Win 8 CP, except those who doesn't have an NX capable CPU, & are planning on buying a new computer after Win 8's release. CP & RP are going down on 01/15/2013.

Even so, I have doubts that MS is updating these any longer, however these users at least has a chance of learning the Win 8 desktop, just can't access Metro Apps, except Mail & Weather, nor the Media Center. For this reason, I'd be leery of using CP at this time, except for casual web browsing.
