Secure web sites are 'Secure' only if you don't have spyware and keyloggers on your PC.

A keylogger monitors your keyboard and will record any information you type in, like passwords, account numbers, SS number, etc.

So if you're really security conscious, make sure your PC is safe to use on the internet, by running one or more Anti-Spyware, Anti-Trojan software. And, don't just install it and Forget-It, like so many do.
Get updates and run scans on at least a weekly basis.

Take a few minutes out of your busy week, to update all your security software and runs scans with those that actually do scans.

Just a few FREE programs to help you keep your PC safe and Malware free are:

AVG FREE
Spybot Search & Destroy
Spyware Blaster
Malware Bytes
Super Anti Spyware

I have them all, and run their updaters at least once a week.
AVG is actually programmed to update and scan, once a day.

Happy Computing!
