I just installed startmenu8 on my new hp laptop with windows8 but everytime I restart my laptop it disappears and I have to reinstall it.
Any advice on how to fix this.

Yes... don't use it. It is not needed, anyway. Sorry, but, you asked. I help my clients get going w/ Windows 8 but, w/out those things. Maybe some fan of them will be able to provide a FIX.

I have Win 8 Pro and I am also using Start Menu 8. I have no trouble using it.
Did you install from IObit.com website?
I can't post the link because I am new here ( 1st post).
You can do your google for it.

My computer is a month old and Dell volunteered, via tech support, this iobit startmenu8, which is great, despite the comment from "don't use it", except that three or four times the ikon has turned up missing down in the corner, and just now I correlated that with 25% CPU usage. I Googled this and found only one response on that first try, recommending what I did, to close it and relaunch by searching for start on the what do they call it metro/charms Windows 8 start menu. I didn't mean/know-how to relaunch it, but after I searched for it, suddenly the ikon returned and the CPU settled back to its normal 1-2 % level.
Did you get any improvement in your situation? You may have a full time case of what I get intermittently. Thanks in advance, as you say.
