WMP does not play avi video in Win 8 - Windows 8

Hi guys,

I just installed WMP on my Dell laptop and running windows 8 beta 64 bit. at the very beginning, every part works very well except it can not play avi video.

Usually, WMP can play avi video in windows 8.

did you know what could be causing this? any help in this would be highly appreciated.

AVI is a container format not a video format. Your video contains a non-standard stream format.
