Hello, guys,
I have upgraded the operating system of my laptop to Windows 8. It has been working well since the installation. But yesterday, a weird pehnomenon gave me a big shock that when I was playing music, there was always some noise. I have checked my earphone on my friend's computer, but it worked normally. That's is to say, the noise may be caused by the computer or the OS. While I played the video, the noise disappeared. Then it indicated that it may be the problem of the system.
Can you show me some instructions?
Thank you a lot.

If it is not the problem of earphone and the loudspeaker. Please check the driver of your audio card in Windows 8, and upgrade it.

Hi HongMay! To help me get a better glance at your problem, Please follow these steps:
[1] Start>Run> Type services.msc> Scroll down and look for "Windows Audio".
[2]If it is running, you must have a driver problem. If not, go to my profile and look at my post on how to enable "Windows Audio".
Hope this helps!

Unfortunately Darknova, the original post was from last October (Win 8 DP). I suspect the problem was fixed with Win 8 CP.
