Noise in Stereo in Windows 8 - Windows 8

Hello guys,

The sound when playing music and movies is normal. There is no other noise. But if I have a try of the stereo, the noise will come up. Sometimes it will last for a comparatively long time. But sometimes, it will last only several seconds. At the very beginning, I though it may be not well connected with the plug. So I pull it and plug it again. But I fail to change the situation.

Can you do me a favor? Running with win 8 OS!

right click on your speaker icon and select playback devices and make sure that you have speakers selected as your default playback device.

When the mic volume is set high, is it normal to hear alot of white noise in the background? You dont notice it when youre listening to music or playing games but its very evident when the room is silent. The mic might be very sensitive but Im not sure if its right.
