Default can't start my audio services

Hi everyone, please help me. I can't start my audio services. I tried to update my audio driver but no update available. Then I installed the driver for my audio device which was compatible to Windows 7 but still no use.

I m using ASUS P5GC-MX/1333 with integrated audio and Windows 8 CP.

    Any Help???

Many threads are devoted to audio problems. Audio drivers have not been updated for Win 8, etc. In your case I would start by Clean Installing Win 8 RP (newer beta) which might on it's own fix your problem. There are many discussions on how to properly do this.

Just Type "Run" on the start page it will take you to page where you can see "Run" as written, just click on that and run the following command and try again the Audio service:

    secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose

    -Restart the machine.

You may have to be patient until Win 8 is released, then buy the released version. By that time audio manufacturer's should have updated their drivers.

hello Diddy, hope you have fixed your audio problem but just to say I had exactly the same problem and tried downloading this and that plus installing device from motherboard disk but all failed so virtually gave up. Then I tried selecting the device through device manager in control panel and just asking to update driver. Put in my motherboard disk and searched disk for driver and it updated and I was away. Worth a try if you already have not done so

Getting the driver from the audio manufacturer, going to device manager, and manually updating driver, then pointing to the driver you downloaded. See if this works for you.
