Can poweriso open mdf files in Windows8? - Windows 8

My friend sends me mdf files and I cannot open them. I want to download poweriso which compatible with my windows8 system, so I want to ask does poweriso can open mdf files? I know it support ISO、BIN、NRG、IMG、DAA.
