    Re: Dual Booting Windows 8 & 8.1

Cat made many good points, particularly that MS needs its own OEM.

Personally, I believe that Windows 8 is a good OS. It is a big change for some people and needs refinement. That's what Windows...
  5. Sticky: Re: which style you prefer - Classic style and Metro style

Some of the Apps on Windows 8 I like (Weather App). I know that seems like a foolish reason to prefer W8 over W7.

I agree that this business of MS of forcing their customers to adapt to unwanted...
  6. Sticky: Re: which style you prefer - Classic style and Metro style

I will agree with nanikore's comments. If I am on a computer with a small screen I prefer classic. However if I am using my 24" monitor I want Metro (or Modern!)

    Dual Booting Windows 8 & 8.1

I am a bit perplexed about the Windows 8.1 preview. I have heard that I will need to reinstall all apps. I don't want to do that and I don't want my existing install of Windows 8 overwritten. Maybe I...

Re: Upgrade Dell Inspiron 1721 to a SSD?

Thanks Cat for responding to my post,

You are correct that I lack experience with this subject. I'm afraid that I would mess it up. The 180GB Intel SSD through Newegg.com sounds like a good one to...

  14. Sticky: Re: which style you prefer - Classic style and Metro style

Re: 40 million Windows 8 licenses so far
