Windows 8 release preview boots into a white screen
Hello everyone,
Nice to meet you here. I am here asking for help.
I installed the windows 8 release preview. I did the steps correctly, as the microsoft said. During installation, nothing wrong accurs. Also, my computer has all correct specifications. But I still get an problem. After the installation finished it restarted and it now goes automatically into a white screen. Nothing happens it's just a plain white screen that I can not get out of. I have tried to boot in safe mode or go to the boot menu but neither work.
Please help.

This really sounds like a graphics driver issue.
The graphics card probably is not recognized by the OS. I would try to boot into Safe Mode. (You have to add the Safe Mode option to the boot screen using the method shown) In Safe Mode, generic drivers are loaded. Perhaps using the generic drivers will allow you to boot into the OS then to install specific drivers for your graphics card.
I would use the PC you posted in this thread with to go to the graphics card manufacturer's web site to download Win 8 specific drivers if available. Both Nvidia (you will see separate downloads for Desktop and Laptop, 32 Bit and 64 Bit) and ATI have posted Win 8 beta drivers. Put these drivers on a flash drive so they will be available in Safe Mode.
