That's exactly what I'd do, because by then, the components will be newer, more compatible with Windows 8 (some components will need to be verified to work).
If I were intending on building a Windows 8 PC, I'd keep saving to get the best components possible. 6 more months to go before retail release, assuming MS's plans are as planned. The cost of the OS itself, which we don't know yet, has to be figured in also. And if you're a Media Center user, you'll need the Pro version of Windows 8, because it's only going to be offered to those users as a paid for addon.
