Yesterday Microsoft has shown a whole new set of features at Build Conference including the App store, Internet Explorer 10 Preview 3, XBOX Live integration. Above all Microsoft has announced that Windows 8 Developer preview would be available for download at around 8 PM PDT. Windows 8 Developer preview includes 64-bit (x64) build with development tools to build apps, and a 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) build without development tools. The releases also include a suite of sample applications.

Yeah, but what are the product keys ? I downloaded the ISO, extracted it to a USB drive, and ran setup, but it wants a product key, and I can't find it anywhere. Anyone ???

More information? buddy, Windows 8 Developer Preview just comes out, people all do research on it. So at this time, no more information. Maybe you can find more information half a month later.

The current build available for download (at least the Developer Preview x64) does not need activation.

I recently downloaded the Windows 8 Developer Preview (x64) and was asked for the product key. The product key given on website does not work. (6RH4V-HNTWC-JQKG8-RFR3R-36498)

Hi buddy,

Microsoft gave two keys for them, please kindly check out Microsoft official site for more information. The key you showed may have been locked down. You can search a new one.

I've been looking on all the forums and answers community but haven't seen any new ones. Have they been updated since the first activation keys were released?
