Ok, LIVE, now. The DL & install time was short; a BIG improvement right off the bat. Works very well, so far... much better than 10049. Some really cool 'improvements', if you will. Weather & Calendar BIG (appealing) difference. Taskbar is now transparent, YES! (One thing I was asking for, likely others were, also). Overall, can see a nice improvement in icons, graphics, colour... it's generally more 'exciting' & prettier to look at & there is more consistency. Taskbar was not holding its size after a Restart, does now YEA!! Well, can, now, 'size' Start menu in a way but, the damn space, still, remains after removing Tiles. And some VERY cool, very welcome, improvements w/in Multiple Desktops!

Bad side... Spartan, still, does not work for me; same as before, opens & starts to load then second or 2 & POOF, gone from the screen. So that's 2 things to report to the Build Teams

And can't imagine anyone staying this Build is not fast; it is.

    Cheers,
    Drew

So now you agree about what I said before? Weather app is different. But you didn't get the 10056 right?

Oh yes, G. I had read more about the coming things after you'd told me bout the Weather. No, I never had 56... I don't believe it was ever officially released. MS had it briefly & their Build #s jumped a lot in a short time. Last I heard they were @ 10104

The Weather had already changed to what it is now by 56, right?

There's a few changes now that I, personally, am happy to see. Works way better than my 10049 was @ the end.

    Cheers,

I am not trying to hijack this thread, but can't find a place to begin a new thread. As a happy owner of my (finally) Windows 8.1 Samsung SE, I am looking forward to Windows 10 if it ever becomes available on a Samsung platform. Samsung G-6 Edge has ben mentioned as a possible platform. I am concerned about the recent inability of Microsoft to adapt the "People" app to accommodate Facebook and Twitter. And Microsoft's laying off 7,500 employees at Nokia. This spells the end of the Microsoft Phone, and probably means that eventually everyone will be using Apple iPhone or Google Android devices. Sad!

Are you testing Windows 10? And if so, on what type of device?

The last version of Windows 10 that I've downloaded and am currently testing is build 10166, and I'm pretty sure that will not be the last Beta Test build before the final release.

Many changes have been made since the build mentioned in the heading of this thread.
I look for a few more before the RTM version.

    Good Luck!
