Where to download Win8 Beta - Windows 8

I have a question here. Is there a public beta for Windows 8? Where can I download it? Thanks.

Well, there is no Windows 8 beta at present. Microsoft only gives us Windows 8 Developer Preview Edition.

In this edition, some features are locked, you can't see them or use them. Maybe, just maybe, one month later Microsoft will publish Windows 8 Beta for public.

you must miss something in this forum. I just now found the download link of the windows 8 consumer preview and the developer preview in the forums. Just check it. In the Windows 8 Download Section. I'm sorry that I failed to post the link for you for the permissions.

Windows 8 CP (Consumers Preview) AKA beta will be released at 12:01 am EST Wednesday 02/29/2012, one download location will be on Microsoft's MSDN site, another one will be here sometime at 9:00 am EST. This is ALL the information we currently have at the moment.

You will find the Windows 8 consumer preview download is available about 10 - 12 hours later, and you can download them here then.

Today MS will release Windows 8 Beta on MWC2012 and i will intall it on my pc ASAP.

If you regularly download large files, like OS's, movies, major software packages, and you're not using a download manager, you're doing yourself a great injustice.

Since a friend recommended "Internet Download Manager (IDM)" to me a year or so ago, I've used it continuously since then. I get my downloads at about 10X the speed of a normal download with NO download manager at all.
There have been many updates to the program since I started using it and still it remains FREE.
And, YES it works great with all versions of Windows, including Win-8.

Just Google "IDM Download" and you'll find several sites from which you can download the program.
