Windows 8 will not auto connect network - Windows 8

I have checked the connect box, but each time I boot up Windows 8 will not auto connect to the network. What setting do I need to change?

You used WIFI or Network Cable?

When trying to connect the Wireless network, please check the “Start the connection automatically” option

for the network cable, for whether you have connected it well to the computer.
