Win 8 not recognizing my built in wireless adapter
Hi. I recently installed 8 ( not dual boot). There is something wrong when I try to connect internet through wireless. It says no wireless devices and wont recognize any wifi networks. Does it cause by driver? I dont know how to find the right driver to fix it. It works when I used windows 7.
I have tried to reinstalled system, still cant work.

You might be able to check the network adapter model by using an app called Speccy. This will give you tons of info about your system, both hardware and software.

Re: Win 8 not recognizing my built in wireless adapter
It would be my guess by now, that the OP has this one figured out, being that a week has gone by w/no further response. At least, I hope that's the case.
Those who wants to try out Windows 8 CP must realize that this is a beta OS, & is far from perfect at this time. My first install on the day of release had 3 issues to be resolved, the worst of which I had to troubleshoot my wired network connection at every startup. That being so, I had to use my built in wi-fi card, until I re-installed the OS.
After the re-install, all is fine. Not bad for a beta OS.
