Sharing Folder with Firewall in Windows 8 - Windows 8

Hello guys,

This morning, I got two computers connected, and both of the computers are working with Windows 8 operating system. Then the computers shared one folder and mapped the folder as a network drive. But you guess what's the matter? The said folder can open the shared file on the remote PC when the Windows firewall was disabled, but when the Windows firewall was enabled. I can open the mapped drive folder and tried everything to allow the computer, user and program access to the firewall on the remote PC with the data file. Unfortunately, the file could not be opened. Does anyone know how to configure the firewall in Windows 8 to allow the access to the data?

Try booting in safe mode with networking and check.

Or Try disabling security software and firewall and check.
