sharing photos and media one pc with two accounts
So I downloaded and installed the windows8 and added two accounts (both are live accounts) one for me one for my wife. we share this computer it is our main computer at home with our photos media etc. I messed around and set things up the way I wanted then allowed her to get on. When she got on none of our pics showed up in her "photos" app. Also when she went to change her logon pic none of our photos show up there either. Music is the same as well as video. I changed her account to an administrator account and now she can access everything through windows explorer but it did not change the other problems. How can I make it so that she can access everything through these apps? I don't want to move everything to the public folder as that would allow anyone (guests etc.) to access them right? I am lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You most likely have to change the location pointers on her LogON.
Open File Explorer, Users, "User Name"
Right click on the folders she needs and select properties.
Click on the location tab and choose change.
Select the appropriate folders on your user profile and select apply.
Select yes for the dialogue box.
This will cause your wife's folders to point toward yours. She should now have all this info.

Glad I could help. You do have to tell Windows where to look for these things since they are not in the default locations on the second user.
