Default iTunes importing music dialogue box disappearing.

    Hello everyone,

I have an external hard drive that I use to backup all of my stuff (documents, music, movies, pictures, etc.). My Windows 8 is a clean install. iTunes is the latest version.

When I go to add a folder to iTunes, the settings are to copy files to the Library, and automatically arrange the library, I will choose the folder and click OK to have it start adding files, but the dialog will just disappear. This does not happen on Windows 7.

    Please help.

Un-installing iTunes and re-installing it may work.
