Default Why does EVERY ppt file open in Read-Only mode?

    Hi,

I recently switched from Powerpoint 2003 to Powerpoint 2010. Upon opening a .ppt file, there was a problem with trusting Macros. But every .ppt or .pptm file that I access opens in Read-Only mode. It doesn't matter if the file is on a network drive or my local C: drive. I have to create a new file name every time I want to save a change. Then, when I close and reopen that new file... it, too, is Read Only.

Have you ever had the same problem?

I have not. You might get more exposure for this problem here.
