Hi guys,

Fresh installation of windows 8 64 bit on my pc and every part works fine, but win 8 keeps asking me to upgrade office 2010. I like office 2003 and would like to keep it.

can anyone help me in this win 8 case? many thanks in advance.

This is an old thread, but yes, Office 2007 (SP3) will most certainly run on Windows 8 RP, 64 & 32 bit. I have it installed myself, as I don't want to burn my Office 2010 activations on a beta OS.

So will Office XP, it's at SP3 also, but as far as I know, it's not currently getting new updates. It's best to run a supported Office, regardless of what OS it's installed on, if it can be helped.
