Hi there,
I am attempting to perform a clean install of Windows 8 on a computer that has been running Windows 7. Window s8 loads normally until the first time that it reboots (during setup). It shuts down like a reboot but upon return it does not seem to be loading from the CD but rather seems to be using the HD.
I have reloaded Windows 8 on the problem computer - which I am using right now. The Windows 8 that I am attempting to load is a Full Version Ultimate.
Who can tell me how could I fix my problem?

How can you have a "Full Version Ultimate" when the Developer preview has only just been released?

After that first reboot it will seem as though the HD is being used - that's normal. But the Win8 DVD is still needed as the rest of the installation continues. In fact I think, if memory serves, that there will be another reboot where a similar thing will happen. When you see the "new" desktop - large colorful rectangles - then the installation is done.
