Well, Duffy, it's not a good or bad idea, just an idea. Dual-boot, tri-boot, long as you have a drive available & a decent amount of RAM, it's all the same.

Yes, Duffy. Plenty. You are only running one of the 2 or 3 @ a time. Ergo, 6 is lots.

Yes, 6 GB RAM is plenty, more than the majority of Windows users needs. I have 8GB in two computers, never have used more than about 5.5GB, that was when running XP Mode inside of Windows 7.
