Default Cannot remove blutooth devices on windows 8 CP

    Hi,

I have windows 8 CP. I upgraded from windows 7. Blutooth devices seem unable to be removed or recognized. I've tried to remove them through the metro interface and through the Control Panel, both without any success at all. I'm trying to get my Microsoft Mobile Keyboard 6000 and Microsoft Blutooth Notebook Mouse 5000 to work as they did before upgrade. Initiating discovery doesn't work - they're never found. Being unable to delete the devices, I'm not surprised that discover isn't working.

If you are still using Win 8 CP, then you should consider updating to Win 8 RP using this method. Win 8 RP updates many things including a larger driver base. It does require a Clean Install. Perhaps this is all you need.

You might try going to MS for drivers. Try the Win 7 drivers.

    Hi Zartan,

Welcome to this Windows 8 Forums.

As Ted said, please updating to Win 8 RP with his suggestion. You can get the latest drivers for your Windows 8, good luck.

Plz let us know if it helps.

Try these steps if you dont want to re-install windows 8.

    1. Download the Windows 7 Blutooth suite from ASUS Support and unzip it
    2. Right click the installer and choose Troubleshoot Compatibility
    3. Select Troubleshoot program
    4. Mark The program worked in earlier versions of WIndows...
    5. Select Windows 7
    6. Complete Test and troubleshooter
    7. Through the Control Panel, select View devices and printers
    8. Select and delete existing blutooth keyboards and mice
    9. Put the devices in pairing mode and select Add devices and printers
    10. Select the discovered mouse and keyboard and complete the pairing
