Windows 8 User with administrator privileges unable to make changes to system files.
I'm using Win 8 pro (x64) and I'm trying to make changes to the files inside my c:/inetpub/wwwroot with dreamweaver, any time I want add a site or save a file it tells me that I don't have permission to change this location, I already checked user groups in Computer Management and I am in fact under the administrator group, I have also checked the folder's permissions and full control is allowed to the admins... I can set dreamweaver to run as admin but every time I run it I have to confirm so it gets annoying.
I also have checked c:/inetpub permissions and full control is allowed.
Anybody has any idea why this is happening and/or how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!!

Hi Johnny, I am afraid I cannot be much help to you but will offer support. I have rooted around a bit, having read your thread, but it seems that permission etc and windows set up for permissions etc is to establish security and is quite important. I was very frustrated in trying to delete Windows.old until another member pointed out that you just use the properties for disc and delete system files so there are sometimes ways round these things but you just need the right authority. I admire you for the ability to use Dreamweaver and think you may just have to put up with the admin prompting. Perhaps my one reply will encourage others as there are some extremely knowledgable people among our moderators etc.
