When tried to import the backup windows 8 registry files this morning, I failed with the win 8 indicating me that there is fiel in operation which leads to the failure to the back up file import.

Then as windows 8 registry is too important to dare not change anything of it.

Any suggestions on fix and repair the Windows 8 registry error?

That's not a server windows 8 registry error in fact. You can enter the taskmanager to to check which process about the registry is still runnint and then end it. Try to back up.
