Hey guys,
I know that if the Windows 8 Quick Launch Bar is installed on my computer, it would be more easy and fast, convenient for operation. While I do not know how to add the windows 8 Quick Launch Bar to the task bar on the bottom of the desktop!
Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

right-click on an open area of the taskbar, and choose Toolbars \ New Toolbar from the menu. You should probably also unlock the taskbar at this point. Post this: %appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch, into the location bar. Make sure that the location bar shows the full path, then choose the “Select Folder” button.

Ok, maybe it's just another Sr. moment, but the "Task Bar" works exactly like the old "Quick Launch Toolbar" for running programs with just one click, so why add another tool bar?
Just curious!

This allows me to add a Toolbar to a folder I shall call Shortcuts that I place shortscuts to all my oft used apps into. It only takes up a small area on the Taskbar and yet hols loads of Shortcuts. This allows me to keep my desktop almost free of icons as can be seen:
As you can see I am actually in my Win 7 OS at this moment. Can you see the obvious clue???

Notice I have 36 different Shortcuts in the Shortcuts Toolbar.BACKUP! BACKUP! BACKUP!

For years, I've used Desktop folders for things like shortcuts to all my forums.
To each his/her own.
That's probably why, desktops are SO programmable.

I agree, it depends on what you have become accustomed to. This is actually one reason why I so detest the Metro UI. First it blocks the entire view, second the tiles themselves are very unattractive, and third I can't display my various landscapes which I very much enjoy, as you can see. I have hundreds which I schuffle through every 10 minutes. Metro blocks everything.
On Win 7 I have exactly 4 icons on my Desktop, My Computer, Recycle, Network, and shortcut to DVD. Everything else is pinned to taskbar or in toolbars on taskbar. Still plenty of room for all those other little do dads on the Taskbar so I'm a happy camper. Set my Win 8 CP up almost identical to Win 7.
As I have said, I am very happy with Win 7. I will really have to think hard on whether I wish to spend my hard earned dollars for Win 8 when it is finally released. I would like to see IE 10 released for Win 7. That would be nice. (Yea I know you and FF, me and IE)BACKUP! BACKUP! BACKUP!
