Don't know why this is happening. I d/led the English version, installed in English and all settings are English. However, some words (like Xbox) appear in some non-English language. See screenshot attachment Attachment 373

Somehow your installation has been corrupted. Is this brand new or was it ok to start with? If this is brand new, I would download again directly from MS. I would burn the new iso to a new DVD and reinstall using a Custom (Clean) install. This will ensure a pristine install and will hopefully fix the installation problem. I suspect somehow you got a "bastardized" version of Win 8 CP for lack of a better term. (Do not mean to offend anyone with this term)
