Craig, did you download the iso file directly from the official MS download site? Did you copy the key exactly from the site? Did you burn the iso file to a DVD using a slow burn (4X max burn)? If so you should be able to boot to the DVD and install Win 8 CP from the DVD.

Be advised that Win 8 RP will be released in early June. This new beta will require a clean install as well. Shortly thereafter Win 8 CP will deactivate.

There is NO registration problem with Win-8/CP. Microsoft gives you the ISO file and right beneath the Download button is the official MS registration key.

The only way to screw it up is to NOT copy the key correctly. That's it!
You CANNOT install Win-8/CP without the correct key.

Still have not heard directly from Craig! This does get irritating after a while. People ask questions, get answers and then never post back to let us know if their problem is solved. Perhaps my patience is not what it used to be. It just seems bad form to leave us hanging. Oh well, get over it Terminator!

We have but only a few recourse's when a thread is redundant, illegal, unintelligible or just plain stupid.....

We can close it, or we can Delete it.

I'm in favor of beginning to DELETE threads that make no sense, or where illegal questions are asked.
These threads serve no useful purpose and are clobbering up our database.

Well, that's the way I run my own computer, but I wasn't sure if we should run this forum that way,,,,,,or not.

I do believe that if we delete someones thread just like a single post, we should PM them and tell they why their post was unacceptable. Some topics are so poorly written as to be totally unintelligible. (Beyond understanding)
I try to fix the little errors in spelling, etc., just to keep the forum looking more professional, but when I can't even understand what the topic is supposed to be, that's another story all together. (I'm usually pretty good at puzzles.)

English, spoken here! (not gibberish) And if your not using a Spell Checker, get one and use it. Firefox has a good one, built in.
