Default W8 Consumer Preview vs. Release Preview

    Hi,

Lets talk about the changes of windows 8 Release Preview.

Comparing with windows 8 Consumer Preview, there are a few changes in windows 8 Release Preview. The speed is faster and there are more apps. Do you find other changes? Post here.

The boot has been slowed somewhat, but I believe that was designed as some of the faster SSD drives were booting too fast to allow the operators to make selections during the boot.

In the Desktop UI there are very few apparent changes. The one change that does not have a great impact is the automatic switch from Metro UI to Desktop UI. There may be a couple of Start Orb replacements that do not work as expected, but Classic Shell still works the same as it did in Win 8 CP.
