Default which style you prefer - Classic style and Metro style

    Hi all,

Like Windows 8, this forum has two styles - Classic style and Metro style. To switch between the two style, you just need to click "change style" on the top of the forum. Now we would like to survey, hoping to know which style you prefer. Please vote here.

    1. Classic style
    2. Metro style

    Thanks

Though at first I did like the new look of the Forum back in the summer, the Classic look is more functional & practical.

    Classic Style.

Hopefully the folks at MS are taking this in, while the new UI is very usable, it's also scared off many potential customers.

Back when Win 7 was released, it was the talk of the town. Not the case with Windows 8. Though I once did a lot of installing of new OS's for others, actually had a good thing going, earlier in the year I had to call it quits.

Though I still get calls for help with Windows 7, only one has called (since 10/26) wanting me to show how to run it. I obliged, but the couple said "No Thanks". To give them an honest look at the OS, as well as hoping not to be involved with installing 8 on two HP notebooks, I removed Classic Shell & left the Modern UI on for them to try out, as well as showed them that my wi-fi card doesn't work (a must for a notebook).

They both stated that they couldn't run this crap (I substituted "crap" for another word).
