Hi guys,

The interface of IObit Smart Defrag is cool and really easy to use. I use IOBits Smart Derag program on all my PCs. I have never had any issues so far. This little light program works great on all the current windows operating systems keeping my discs defragged.

But yesterday when i clicked only C: disk to defrag, it selected all other disks. I've tried many times and still do not find out the real causes.

Before coming here for some help i've written a letter to IObit Online Support.

Have you encountered the same problem in windows 8?

Here I recommend you not defrag your hard disk too frequently. Defrag will bring damage to hard drive. Maybe three months a defrag, that' will be much better.

And sometimes, software encounters problems, this can't be stopped by any precaution. So just restart the software or computer, they will turn OK.

Actually, there is no need for everyday or too frequent degrag to your windows 8. Defragmentations won't do too servere problem to your windows 8. But that does not mean the Smart Defrag is not necessary, it's a neccissity for yor computer performace.
