This morning, I suddenly found that I can not search the very document I saved in the computer by enter the name of its name. You know that the operating system of my laptop is Windows 8 beta. It has been running well for such a long time. Usually we can enter the name a nominated file to search it ASAP to save our time. But this morning, I failed. I do not know why.

Pls give me some instructions!

Open the folder: “C:\Windows\inf", find the file“srchasst.inf” and right click on it and choose Installation among the options popped up.

Or you can create a new user and delete the former one.

Is the "search box" still there?

I wonder if you (or someone) has changed some property on the entire drive.

Hidden all files for instance...
