Recently I have some problems on playing video-files, of course mkv container, on my HD TV. It turned out the files are corrupted after copy to the USB hd. I do not know who was the culprit, so I asked some friends about this situation and they also can not tell the solutions.
Can someone please help?

No problems copying from USB to internal drive? Only copying to USB HD?
I was wondering if it could be somehow related to memory issues but as I don't have any problems copying from USB HD. So I'm not sure.
I have never come across the files corrupt problems after being copied to USB HD with Windows 8.
