How to Cancel Password in Windows 8

Hello guys,

I have installed windows 8 home premium on my laptop. But it seems that there is safe locking function of the system itself. Because the D:/ on my computer has been locked with password. But I have never set the password to this disk. And then I have to open this disk to get some data. But I donot know how to open it by cancel the password protection.

Any computer talent? Pls show me the specific steps!

you can cancel the disk password int he user account in Control Panel with the prerequisite that you know the former password. If you have forgotten it, you have to reinstall the system.
