Have you ever tried to create a new user? Did you get any error message when you are creating?
I get a message when I create new user. It says "Windows cannot find
'::{26EE0668-A00A-44D7-93710-BEB064C98683}\9\::{60632754-C523...\\pagenameNewAccount.'

Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again."

Please let me know if you know a fix. Thanks for time.

Oh, I forgot one thing, I am using Windows 8 RP.

I fixed a couple of typo's in your post, to make it read a little better.

If your browser has a Spell Checker, turn it on.

I've never created a second user on any of my PC's, so I've not tried to create a second user in Win-8/RP.

Sorry, I can't help you there, but maybe someone else can.

I might just say though, that most of the problems people are having in Win-8/RP is due to a flawed install. The proper way to install Win-8, without problems, is outlined in the Stickies at the top of every topic.

Thanks for feedback. I fixed it by the following steps:

1. Press the Windows Key + i
--Or move your mouse to the top right corner of the screen, then move it down and click Settings
2. Click More PC Settings
3. On the left, click Users
4. Click Add A User

We're so glad to hear that you've fixed it by yourself.

Win + X will open the Power Users menu. Computer Management, and many other commands are located on this menu.

Geoffrey, Thanks for posting your fix. This might help others. In Win 8, many of the commands that are supposed to work on the Desktop seem not to be implemented fully. Some of these activities have to be done from Metro. This is probably because MS is pushing users to get accustomed to Metro and use it more.

Please come again, and watch for questions you might be able to answer. We are all still learning how Win 8 RP works.
