I tried out the windows 8 operating system today. After installation, I put my mouse on "Computer" and then clicked the right-hand button, chose "Property". Guess what? The internal memory is shown as 1014MB in the System Properties, while the internal memory of my newly bought computer is 1GB. And the OS is the band newly installed win 8.

Who can tell me how this situation happened?

I do not why the internal memory shrink in Windows 8. But I think if it won't have negative effects on your windows 8, pls ignore it. Let it go!
