After the installation of Windows 8 on my laptop, I used the optimization master to delete the arrow icons on the shortcuts. I checked to remove them. But I failed. Then I tried to delete them in the registry. Then they were successfully got rid of. But another problem came up: the super taksbar and the game in the start menu can not be opened.

Don't change the files of Windows 8. Otherwise you may meet unexpectable fatal Windows 8 errors. I once use some software that can deal with arrow icon. However, I don't recommend you to do so. It is really dangerous.
