Hey, everybody
I hope this is the right place to get. if not, i apologize, let me know and i will move it to where it should be. thanks
Recently I encountered a problem with my PC for it keeps getting the blue screen of death. i am using windows 8 64 bit for a few months and the PC is two years old. This mostly happens running Windows explorer/ Firefox and windows media player. maybe my pc is quite old so that it comes up with so many problems.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? if you require more infor, please give me some pointers as to how or where i find the information you want.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
BSOD in Windows 8 can be caused both by your hardware and software. As for the software problem, pls run antivirus and shutdown some unnecessary ware or uninstall them which will cause the slow operation of Win 8 and avoid the blue screen of death in certain extent. As for the hardware problem in Windows 8, if you are a computee newbie, pls take your computer to the seller or ask other visiting service for desktop.01-20-2011

Hi kerry,
Can you post a few of your latest minidump files? They are located in C:\WINDOWS\Minidump. ZIP them and attach them to your next post.
Right-click the minidump file, select Send To, then select Compressed (zipped) Folder.
Windows will compress (zip) the file and save the new zipped file in the same location.
If you get an Access Denied error, disable the UAC.01-20-2011
