    Default Clutter? What clutter?

I may get a lot of flack but, oh well... Anyway, for no particular reason thought I'd share this. Will only mention, everything is immediately, readily, easily, available on that Taskbar; it's 'all' there, from GOD Mode to Universal APPs. And the only time the Start menu is seen is upon hitting the Win key to Search.

There is no attempt here to make any point, editorial or recommendation. A mere casual share. No message.

I downloaded the 64 bit Version of windows 10 10041 this morning and then installed it on a six year old HP Laptop. With a few tweaks, and some setup, it is running GREAT and looks like this:

Click the picture to see the whole thing.

It may look similar to Windows XP or 7, but look at the build number in the lower Rt Corner, above the clock.

Yes, the ISO's are out there for download.

    Cheers Mates!

PS: I also have the 32 bit version of 10041 installed and running just great on a nine year old eMachine.

Interesting stuff. Really, nice waterfall picture. Sad shame to have icons on top of it. I see you put AVG on it. GUess it must work, although, not needed. Why the 2 buttons @ the left end? The System shortcut is not needed; can access that via the Win logo Rt Clk menu.

Looks like 10 to me; Taskbar & what's on it is Win10, especially, the Sys Tray.

But, it's damn pretty. But, then, I like forests & waterfalls so, I'm bias.

Surprised no one has asked about the clock on mine, yet.

It is particularly interesting the age & gear on which 10 is nicely running. Keep telling Folks about that idea... hard getting 'em to believe it.

Why do you say AVG is not necessary?
If Windows Defender is your preference, that's your problem. I wouldn't trust it as far as I could throw my car.
Not only do I install AVG and set it up for daily updates and scans, I also use Spybot S&D, Spyware Blaster, Super Anti-Spyware, Malware Bytes and sometimes Trojan Hunter.

NO ONE program can properly protect a PC. That's one thing I've learned in my 35 years as a Computer tech.

There may be other means to do things, but I like the way I have my own PC set up. It's familiar, friendly and just works great! My older customers would feel right at home with it.
I also re-activate Windows Mail, because it most closely approximates Outlook Express, which many of us used for over a decade.

I too, like water, of almost any type in a desktop theme. Some of the seashore themes available from MS are just Beautiful. Harbor Lights is fabulous!

But contrary, to some, the ISO's for both the 32 bit version and the 64 bit version are on the web, for easy and FREE download. And they come without add-ons or spyware. (at least mine did)
I now have both versions, on DVD, so I can install them on different PC's for the most thorough Testing.
Isn't that what Testing should be all about?

It's SPRING! Rejoice! Snow will soon become a distant memory. It's warm and rainy in FL today!

Settle down & don't be telling people they have a problem because they don't use what you use.

Yes, I said NEED. There was no mention of preference. That's changing the subject. It's is not necessary, to grab a 3rd Party security for 8.1 or 10... that is fact. Preference has nothing to do w/ that fact. 2 totally different & separate things.

There was no opinion to discuss, refute or cut down. Only a fact was stated. Installing an outside program is not required. <--- That is fact. Sans editorial! OR any personal cracks attached.

Is that how you always react when your status in your domain is challenged?
