My computer is running with Windows 8 operating system now. You know I have set the restore point auto creating each day. But this morning, when I booted the the computer, the function has been closed. But I never changed the settings.

Can you show me some suggestions?

Maybe you have used some system optimization tool to optimize your computer, and this tool closed backup & restore center. That the most possible reason you got. Please check this kind of software in your computer, and do disable this feature inside.

Windows 8 backup & restore center is important. You'd better keep it running all the time.
