I am getting abad Video Card error when attempting to play games such as MineCraft. The error occurs every time I try to load my game and I have loaded it using a different Hard Drive with windows 7 and it loads fine. when viewing the error report message with in my game log I noticed it says

I have a x64 system and I have checked all the driver updates and there are NO optional updates at all, the updates that I have in my history are all
"Update for Windows 8 Consumer Preview for x64-based Systems"
There where 4 updates installed and still getting same message saying I need to update my video card so I have also went to the device manager and tried to update the drivers directly from NVIDEA still NO luck any way to fix my problem..

Simply re-install the video drivers it worked for me.

This thread is well over a year old. If the OP hasn't fixed the problem by now, he never will.
