There are quite a lot of users who meet the driver problem after install Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
There are two ways that may deal with your problems:
1, If you know the exact name (brand) of that device, Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy SE for example, the search its official site, and try to get the latest driver for this device. See if this driver supports Windows 8 Consumer Preview or not. If it doesn't, then you have to wait until that manufacturer update the driver for Windows 8, or you have to format your system drive and install other Windows system like Windows 7. You can't degrade Windows 8 Consumer Preview to original system.
2, if you don't know the exact name (brand) of that device, then you can go to internet or click here to find a driver updater, it will automatically download and install latest driver for you. See if that works. But do notice that this kind of software still may not solve the problem, cause the latest driver doesn't support Windows 8 either.
Hope you'll have a good experience on Windows 8 Consumer Preview.
