How do I enable Remote Desktop?
I installed windows 8 CP on a virtual machine and used Hyper-V to connect to the machine. I joined it to my domain, added my two user accounts as administrators and I am now trying to enable Remote Desktop on it so I can connect to it from my physical machines.
When I go to the Remote tab in Advanced System Settings, the Remote Assistance checkbox at the top is checked, and the middle radio button in the Remote Desktop section is selected, but all of those radio buttons are greyed out for some reason. When I try to connect to the VM with the Remote Desktop Client on my Windows 7 machine, it is unable to connect: after timing out, it says that it is unable to connect to the machine because it's off or doesn't have Remote Desktop enabled. My Windows 7 machine is able to ping and net view the Windows 8 CP virtual machine without issue.
I was able to enable and use Remote Desktop on the developer preview without any problem.
